Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Masterlink Materials Marketplace (“Marketplace”), operated by Masterlink Solutions Ltd (“Masterlink”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using the Marketplace, users (“Buyers” and “Sellers”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
The Marketplace provides a platform for businesses to buy and sell polymers, masterbatch, additives, compounds, scrap materials, equipment and related products.
Masterlink acts solely as an intermediary marketplace operator and is not the manufacturer or owner of most products listed.
2. Eligibility
The Marketplace is intended for business-to-business (B2B) transactions only.
Users must:

Be a registered business entity

Provide accurate company information
-
Be authorised to enter into commercial agreements
Masterlink reserves the right to approve, suspend or remove accounts at its discretion.
3. Marketplace Role
Masterlink provides a platform that connects Buyers and Sellers.
Masterlink:

Reviews and vets listings where possible
-
Facilitates communication and transactions
-
May charge service or commission fees
However, Masterlink does not guarantee:

Product quality
-
Product suitability
-
Accuracy of listing descriptions
-
Regulatory compliance of products
Responsibility for these lies with the Seller.
4. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers must ensure that:

Listings are accurate and truthful
-
Materials comply with applicable regulations
-
Safety data sheets (SDS) are available where applicable
-
Products are safe for transport and handling
-
Materials are legally owned and can be sold
Sellers must not list:

Illegal materials
-
Hazardous substances without proper documentation
-
Counterfeit products
-
Misrepresented materials
Masterlink reserves the right to remove listings at any time.
5. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers must:

Conduct their own due diligence on materials
-
Confirm technical suitability for their application
-
Review all documentation before purchase
-
Ensure materials meet regulatory requirements for their use
The Marketplace may contain surplus, redundant, off-spec, or recycled materials, which may not meet virgin material specifications.
6. Confidentiality
To protect the commercial interests of users:

Buyer and Seller identities may remain anonymous during initial negotiation.

Contact details may only be shared after a transaction agreement.
Users agree not to attempt to circumvent the Marketplace to avoid fees.
7. Pricing and Payments
Prices listed may be:

Fixed price (“Buy Now”)

Negotiable
-
Subject to offer
Payments may be processed through the Marketplace or directly between parties depending on the transaction.
Masterlink may charge:

Listing fees
-
Transaction fees
-
Commission on completed sales
All applicable fees will be clearly communicated.
8. Delivery and Logistics
Delivery terms are agreed between Buyer and Seller.
Unless stated otherwise:

Sellers are responsible for packaging and dispatch

Buyers are responsible for confirming delivery requirements
-
Transport costs may be additional
Masterlink is not responsible for delays or transport damage.
9. Product Quality and Liability
Materials sold through the Marketplace may include:

Surplus stock
-
Redundant masterbatch
-
Recycled materials
-
Off-specification materials
Products are sold “as described” or “as available.”
Masterlink makes no warranties or guarantees regarding:

Product performance
-
Colour consistency
-
Processing behaviour
-
Fitness for purpose
Buyers should perform appropriate testing before full-scale production use.
10. Returns and Disputes
Disputes regarding materials must be resolved between Buyer and Seller.
Masterlink may assist with mediation but is not responsible for resolving disputes.
Returns or refunds are subject to the Seller’s individual terms unless otherwise stated.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Masterlink shall not be liable for:

Loss of profits

Production downtime
-
Manufacturing defects
-
Indirect or consequential losses

Issues arising from material use
Total liability shall not exceed the fees paid to Masterlink for the transaction.
12. Suspension or Termination
Masterlink may suspend or terminate accounts that:

Provide false information

Violate these Terms
-
Attempt to bypass the Marketplace

Engage in fraudulent activity
13. Intellectual Property
All content on the Marketplace including branding, logos, and platform design is owned by Masterlink Solutions Ltd.
Users may not reproduce or distribute platform content without permission.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
Due to the B2B nature of the Marketplace, refunds are not automatically provided.
Refunds may occur if:

A listing is proven to be materially misrepresented

Both parties agree to cancellation

The Seller’s terms allow it
